Before you begin.
How much do pieces cost?
Clay Orchids pieces are luxury and handmade. They range from $40.99 to $399.99 or more, depending on the package you choose. Every order is quoted personally: share your pieces and your wedding party in the consultation form and I'll reply with your quote.
How long does a made-to-order piece take?
Making takes 5–7 days. With priority shipping, 3–5 business days in transit, allow about two weeks in total from order to door. Nothing sits on a shelf: your flowers are made after you order, in your colors.
Can you make a rush order?
Yes. Rush orders are completed in 2 days, for an additional $25. Mention your wedding date in the consultation form.
Can you match my wedding colors?
Yes, and custom color matching is free. Send a photo of your dresses or your palette (natural light photographs work best) and your flowers are matched to it.
How does a custom order work?
Start with the consultation form: share your colors, your wedding party and the pieces you have in mind. You'll receive a personalized quote. A 50% deposit begins your custom piece, and the balance is due before it ships. Making takes 5–7 days, about two weeks in total from order to door with priority shipping.
Do you ship, and where?
Yes. Every piece ships worldwide from Gainesville, Virginia. International transit times vary by destination, and any customs duties are the recipient's responsibility.
Can I pick up locally?
If you're local to Northern Virginia and would like to ask about picking up in person, mention it in the consultation form and I'll let you know what's possible.
Can I return or exchange an order?
Every piece is handmade to order, so there are no returns. If a piece arrives damaged, or isn't right because of a mistake on our side, write to me within 7 days and I will make it right. Pieces damaged in transit are remade free.
How do I care for clay flowers?
Clay flowers never wilt and never need water. Keep them dry and out of prolonged direct sun, and handle them gently. If you're ever unsure, write to me before attempting to clean anything.
What are Clay Orchids flowers made of?
Thai clay, shaped by hand one petal and leaf at a time. Nothing is stamped out or mass-produced.
Can I buy flowers online here?
Not on this site. Every Clay Orchids piece is made to order, so the way to start is a custom order request. Online shopping will live on the Ivory & Bloom website in the future.

Is a deposit required?
Yes. A 50% deposit begins a custom piece, and the balance is due before it ships. Because every piece is made to order, the deposit is non-refundable once making has begun.
